Seven daft TripAdvisor comments about Italy

From award-winning beaches to ancient ruins, Italy is full of amazing holiday destinations. But some of the country’s hotspots have left travellers either nonplussed, or completely bewildered.

Italy has it all: history, culture, art, food, mountains, lakes, beaches...the list is endless.

But there is just no pleasing some people.

We get that crowds of tourists, being ripped off and selfie sticks can blight any decent holiday.

But this is not what has irked some visitors to Italy, who have either been left totally unimpressed by some of the country's famous treasures - or completely bewildered.

We took a look through the reviews of some of Italy's key places on TripAdvisor - and were left equally as baffled, and entertained, by some of them.

Here are but a few:

"Not even straight"
