Janitor gets jail sentence for schoolgirl kiss

A janitor in Tuscany has been sentenced to 20 months in jail for kissing a 14-year-old schoolgirl.
The judgement was passed down on Tuesday after a Florence court found that the man had asked the girl, now 16, to follow him upstairs before kissing her against her will.
The teenager confirmed the allegation in court, Corriere Fiorentino reported, although did not claim compensation.
He gave her his phone number and contacted the student via Facebook after the pair met at a school in Empoli, the newspaper said.
