The Ferrari 456M GTA, registered by Totti in 1998, has been posted on the used car website, AutoScout24, and is described as a “non-smoking" car with “sports seats, alloy wheels and an anti-theft system”, Corriere dello Sport reported.
Totti is following in the footsteps of former Juventus player Alessandro del Piero, who is also trying to sell his Ferrari on the site but for €10,000 more than Totti's.
While some people might dream about driving a car that once belonged to a football star, others are less enthusiastic.
Shortly after del Piero's ad was posted online, car enthusiasts took to the Facebook page of vendor Gruppo Buanne, saying the Ferrari's previous owner could, in fact, devalue the car.
"Del Piero is not a pilot, I hope he hasn't burnt the clutch," quipped one.
Another said: "Footballers are not known for driving well."
