Many foreigners experience culture shock when moving to a new country - what you might not realize is that it works both ways. The Local's list reveals the top ten things Italians don't understand about Americans.


Moving to Italy is a dream for many Americans, but those who make it a reality may not find they fit in as seamlessly as they hoped. Before even beginning to tackle the language barrier and famous bureaucracy, there's a culture clash to contend with.
