From Brad Pitt trying to pass himself off as an Italian to an amusing video explaining the difference between “scopare” and “scappare”, YouTube is full of language-related gems.

The Local has put together a list of the ones we think are the most amusing. They highlight how foreigners can mangle the language of love, or find themselves in embarrassing situations.

That said, we also included one or two celebrities who were surprisingly adept at Italian, including British footballer Paul Gascoigne, so we thought it was only fair to include them.
