After Italian men were ranked the most desireable in Europe in a survey last week, The Local takes a look at the hottest the country has to offer.
Long after the days of Giacomo Casanova, Italians are still stealing the hearts of women the world over. According to a recent survey in Europe, they are more desireable than both the French and the Spanish.

While Italian men are well known for approaching foreign women - often with promises of ice cream and scooter rides - there are few famous hearthrobs known internationally.
As a result, The Local decided to delve into the world of the Italian stallion, uncovering the ten most desired Italian men.
While a few actors make the cut, the list also includes a beautiful ballet dancer, a fashion executive, a swimmer and a couple of footballers.
