Italian admits killing her baby in London

An Italian woman has admitted killing her baby daughter and hiding the body, according to Italian news reports.
Federica Boscolo-Gnolo, 31, was arrested in London in Jaunary after telling police the two-month old had disappeared from a hotel they were staying at in Hammersmith, a borough in the west of the English capital.
The child’s body has not been found. It was initially believed that the baby, called Farah, may have been put in a rubbish bin, according to British media reports.
Gnolo, from the town of Chioggia in Venice, confessed on Tuesday during a pre-trial hearing, Ansa reported, citing the Italian consulate.
