The boss of pasta-making giant Barilla sparked a storm on Thursday after saying gay people had no place in his company's publicity. But what do Italians think of Guido Barilla's remarks? The Local took to the streets of Rome to find out.
ANDREA was blunt in his response. "It's bullshit," he said. "It's 2013, but he's living in the dark ages. It's shameful, especially coming from the head of an Italian company that is huge globally."
