Russia to free Italian Greenpeace activist

Russian lawmakers on Wednesday approved a Kremlin-backed amnesty bill that is set to end the prosecution of Cristian D'Alessandro, an Italian Greenpeace activist, along with fellow members of the organization and the two jailed singers of the punk band Pussy Riot.
