Bomb hurled into Calabria retirement home

Police are on the hunt for two people who threw a homemade bomb into a retirement home in Calabria. Staff at the home found the bomb before it detonated.
The bomb, made out of petrol with an attached fuse, was believed to have been hurled through the window of the Villa della Rose home in Vibo Valentia in the middle of the night, Gazzetta del Sud reported.
Staff were quick to find it before it detonated and alerted police.
Investigators said the damages could have been enormous, the newspaper reported.
