William and Kate 'are not' buying an Italian home

A spokesman for the British royals, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, told The Local that the couple is not buying a property in Tuscany following reports in the Italian press.
The supposed property purchase is “definitely not happening”, a spokesman for Clarence House said.
He stressed that Prince William and Kate Middleton are not buying property in Tuscany or anywhere else in Italy.
The statement follows a report in La Nazione on Tuesday that the couple could buy a €25 million home in the coming days.
The newspaper said that the royals were planning on buying the Selva estate, in Monteroni d’Arbia, south of Siena.
The owner of the villa told The Local that the report is “completely false”.
The 900-hectare Selva estate includes vineyards, olive groves, stables and three lakes.
