Spooked mayor calls the ghostbusters

If there's something strange in the neighbourhood, who would you call? The ghostbusters, of course. That is exactly what one Italian mayor is doing to get to the bottom of the eerie undertones in his town.
Mayor Alberto Pompizi has called on the help of the European Paranormal Activity Society (EPAS) to find out whether lost souls are wandering the streets of Sant’Omero, a village of 5,444 people in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo.
From September 7th, Massimiliano Maresca, the president of EPAS, will lead a team of ghostbusters to identify and possibly eradicate any spirits inhabiting the town, ArticoloTre reported.
The team will focus on an old wash house called La Fonte Vecchia, where sightings of werewolves were once reported, and the grotto of Santa Maria a Vico church, which was built on the ruins of a pagan temple.
