I am a local employee in Italy however, despite of the fact that I spend more than 183 days in Italy abd receive my salary here, I am still considered a tax resident of my home country since my kids are living there. And even if I would have the new family in Italy, I would not become a tax resident since, in the case of equal situation, it is considered that you are a tax resident of the “first” country in which conditions for tax resident status were met.
