Hello I have been reading The Local for four years since my husband and I decided to make our move to Italy. The advice contained has been invaluable with one major omission I have yet to read anything about inheritance rules in Italy and the making of wills. The existence of forever heirs was a major shock to me as a second wife and my husband having children. The very precarious position I would be in on his death has marred our time in Italy. Fortunately we finally found a solution but only after extensive legal fees and I continue to be nervous about the situation I would be happy to discuss this issue further with your editors
