chedder cheese is easy to freeze , my family bring out big blocks when they visit and I cut it into portions and freeze , cranbury juice is easily bought as mirtilli same thing I think you can get most stuff now in the big supermarkets , although 23 years ago I could get nothing but now its mainly down to the tv cooking shows the shops have to stock these foods and spices

Martina Franca has a very good, though tiny, Indian restaurant, called Kalpna, and a grrengrocer who always gets us parsnips and sprouts. For a much wider choice Try - The British Store, Ireland - They sell bacon, sausages and have a section for American foods. As they are in the EU there is no inport tax .They are very good, and helpful. Margaret in Martina Franca

Parsnips are available from Iperlando in Conegliano Veneto , English cheddar from Co-op supermarkets in Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto, Kerrygold butter from Aldi and Lidl otherwise I buy Lurpak from any of several supermarkets. No luck finding crumpets and proper bacon though. But there are enough Italian goodies to make up for them.

Pfanner makes cranberry juice every fall, I put a reminder on my calendar, and always stock up when it comes in to our local IN's Market!
