If you’re looking for somewhere to travel this summer, you’re in luck – new routes are linking Italy to dozens of destinations, from Finland to Morocco and beyond.
Domestic, European, and long-haul transatlantic flights are on offer as many low-cost rivals launch new routes alongside American giants like United and Delta.
Bari
Three new routes by budget airline Ryanair have started operating for the summer season, connecting Puglia to Sicily, the UK and Romania. These seasonal flights will run April to October. Easyjet is also adding a twice-weekly flight to Manchester from July to October.
Flying across the pond, new United Airlines flights will connect Bari to Newark, New Jersey, four times a week from May to early September.

Ryanair is significantly boosting its operations in Calabria this summer, adding routes from Lamezia Terme to five European destinations.

Milan
Following the success of new seasonal flights to Naples and Venice in 2025, American Airlines is set to expand its Italian network again this year with a daily, year-round service to Miami. Jetblue is also expanding its North American to Italy connections with a daily Boston–Milan trip for the summer months.

Olbia, Sardinia
Delta Airlines is bringing new nonstop service from New York to Sardinia this summer. Besides the New York-Olbia connection, the airline will also offer four weekly flights between Seattle and Rome Fiumicino from early May until late October.

Travellers flying out of Pisa can journey to the capital cities of Morocco or Slovakia this spring and summer.

Seasonal Ryanair flights will connect Italy’s Adriatic coast to Catania, Manchester and Cologne this summer. Flights run from June to October.

Rome
Six new flight routes are coming to Rome this spring and summer.
Ryanair and Easyjet are making it easier to reach Birmingham and Newcastle, respectively. Ita Airways is adding Houston to its direct North American flights, while Alaska Airways will operate its first-ever international route, flying between Rome and Seattle daily. Plus, Wizz Air is providing a budget option for residents of Rome to vacation in Crete.

Turin
Finland’s flagship carrier, Finnair, is launching a new nonstop route between Helsinki and Turin. The flights begin in May and will fly multiple times per week in summer, scaling down to once per week in the winter months.
