TELL US: What are the best ways to cope with Italian driving habits?

From wannabe F1 drivers and tailgaters to motorists crawling along at a snail’s pace, Italy's driving culture can be hard to adjust to. What are the best ways to cope with it? We want to hear from you.

Whether you live in Italy or are just visiting, driving is often a necessity in the country. But there’s a range of common behaviours on Italian roads that foreign nationals often find hard to adjust to.

Last week, we asked readers in our Living in Italy Facebook group what they thought was the craziest thing about driving on Italy’s strade and there was one issue which came up over and over again: speed, or sometimes, the lack of it.

Whether you’re dealing with wannabe F1 drivers, die-hard tailgaters or motorists crawling along at 20 kilometres per hour, we’d love to hear your best tips on how to cope with Italian driving habits.
